When i'm a walkin, i strut my stuff 11/18/2001

And i'm so strung out.

Ok, around 10:30 last night i was talking to cole about how i wasn't going to get a blowjob from rebecca, because 1. we were on our way to see HARRY POTTER, 2. i don't want to get with rebecca (haven't for a long time) 3. there's lots of other girls that would be higher up on my list than her. Just as he was asking who would be on that list, the doorbell rings. I remind you that the house is dark except my room, everyone in my house is asleep except me, and it's 10:30 at night. I wander down to get it, kind of freaked out, because what kind of strange people would be ringing my doorbell at 10:30 at night? I'm thinking, maybe jon frost, since he's always doing crazy stuff like showing up at my doorstep asking for an extra cd-r or something. I open it, only to see 8 rather strangely clad females standing at my doorstep. I had no idea who it was, and i remember thinking... maybe it's the cheerleaders that just got off work or something? I walk out there, only to find out it's half the gymnastics team - tam jadin, amy cohen, nicole elwart, katrina from down the street, ej from north (dave's friend), and a couple others that i don't know. I'm like... what are you doing on my doorstep at 10:30 at night? Tamela is like well, we were just driving around and i decided we'd stop by and say hi. FIrst of all - HUH? why would someone want to say hi to me, and why would they want to do it at 10:30 at night? And if these 8 non-drunk girls can show up at my doorstep at 10:30, why can't this happen more often? I mean, i spent my whole weekend complaining to people that i was bored off my ass, and i find out that these girls apparently had enough time to kill that they can just randomly ring my doorbell? Anyway, back to the story, they were dropping of their video camera that they had used to film the initiation ceremony for gymnastics - which apparenlty consisted of girls dressing up in foolish looking clothes and walking around downtown. So, we hung out on the doorstep for about 20 minutes, all the while trying to keep them from waking my parents up (which they did anyway) grabbed a couple pictures. At this point, ej and a couple others wanted to go into dave's room and wake him up. I nixed that idea pretty quick - i was scared enough that these people were even at my house, much less inside it ;-). I told amy she should be really careful driving, related my story about driving bob back from the theater at 3 in the morning in the fog, and told her to be careful, and she's like "do you think i'm drunk or something?" i said no, of course not, it's just that it was really hard to see... Anyway, i just thought it was interestnig that 8 girls would show up at my doorstep at 10:30 at night, and decided to share. Now, if only i could get them to be around me during the day, i'd be all set. Have a good day, and hopefully more stories sometime soon - Chris
